Asked Questions

  • The words ‘I am not a runner’ don’t exist in our vocabulary. We cater to all running abilities and it is our job to ensure everyone has the most unbelievable 4 days! You can enjoy the retreat without any running as we will cater to walkers/ those wanting to just hike. To evaluate your own fitness level we request you be able to complete 5km in 1 hour or under.

  • 100% – most guests sign up solo! What better way to meet new like minded people! If you are coming solo however, and would like to book a private double room please contact us directly. We can’t be placing you in bed with a stranger.

  • Please advise us prior to the retreat of any major sleep issues. We do encourage guests to use ear plugs when sharing a room.

  • DELICIOUS! We cater to all, it will be fresh and delicious food keeping you well fuelled. Meal times are structured and strategically placed to promote energy balance throughout the day. Some snacks are provided but if you would like to bring some then that is also ok.

  • Each retreat has different room arrangement types but as an overview, our rooms cater to couples, friends and new acquaintances. If you are solo we have the beds split into two and we have a strict ‘same-sex policy’. We work hard to ensure you are placed with a roommate that you’ll click with.

  • The pricing on the booking page is per person unless otherwise stated, any further questions in regards to double rooms please don’t hesitate to contact us.

  • Trip specifics such as arrival time, and packing lists will be provided to you a few weeks prior to the commencement of the retreat.

  • For our Noosa Retreat the Maroochydore Airport is the closest. From the airport into Noosa you can catch an uber or grab the shuttle bus from the airport into Noosa. For our female retreat in Lake Moogerah the closest airport is Brisbane or the Gold Coast. Transfers are available and can be arranged with booking or in the lead up to the retreat at the cost of the attendee.

  • We welcome guests from interstate and would love to help organise transportation if required. If you would like airport transfers to be organised by us, please stipulate this in the booking process, by adding it as an additional item or contacting us via email at runescapesaus@gmail.com.

  • We host about 12-20 guests but have the capability to have up to 30 guests. We have 3-5 Run Escapes Team members taking care of you during the week to ensure you have the best week, the team may vary for retreat to retreat - but you are guaranteed awesome guidance!
